Patrick's Barn Wedding | Stuart & Emma

An incredible day was had by all who attended the wedding of Stuart and Emma! The ceremony oozed class as Emma glided down the elegant aisle of the Parish of St Paul in Haywards Heath, the train of her dress pursuing from behind. Stuart eagerly awaited the arrival of his bride at the end of the seemingly never-ending aisle, where after a beautiful exchange of vows marked with love and dedication, he became her husband, and she his wife.

With the service over, I decided to make the most of the dry spell of weather and whisk Stuart and Emma around the stunning grounds for a few bride and groom portraits, of course making the most of the giant redwood trees that make the most phenomenal backdrop.

Celebration ensued as friends and family gathered at Patricks Barn for the reception. Nestled into the countryside of Turners Hill, this hidden location is surrounded by woodland, the perfect location to disappear into Stuart and Emma’s newlywed bubble! This wedding was the perfect mix of country house grandeur and proper rustic barn, and they pulled it together seamlessly!

Becky and the team at The Garden Chef did a fantastic job running the day, providing hampers of food on each table with delicious carved beef, coronation chicken and the most divine homemade pie. Games and dancing filled the afternoon and continued into the night, where this perfect day drew to a perfect close.

I had an amazing time at the start of August capturing this fabulous day in West Hoathly. If you’d like me to photograph your special event here or anywhere else, please don’t hesitate to get in touch on info@darrengrittonphotography.com for more information and bookings.
