I love that weddings can be wonderful, whatever the weather! Sharon and Simon tied the knot towards the end of August, and you could think after the scorching summer we’ve had, this day would have been just as hot. However, this was not the case. Wind and rain prevailed throughout the day but that didn’t dampen our spirits! A simple ceremony at Brighton Town Hall was followed by a captivating reception at the elegant and sophisticated Jury’s Inn Brighton Waterfront.
While the weather restricted our opportunities to take photos outside, we managed to get a handful of snaps sprinkled with confetti as the happy newlyweds took their first few steps as Mr and Mrs. Sharon’s gorgeous gown, gave the illusion of a floating angel as she glided around the venues. While she, naturally, stole the show, Simon looked dashing beside her, the perfect groom to the perfect bride. A magician wowed the guests with ingenious slight of hand, baffling even the most observant of us!
I think this day goes to show that while the traditional wedding months can brighten a occasion, you really can get married at any time of the year. The great British weather will have its way, regardless of the season, but the best can always be made no matter what it throws our way. I wish this sweet couple all the happiness in their marriage, come rain or shine!
