The beautiful beach couples photoshoot in Sussex

Simon & Terrie share such a deep connection and this was so apparent during their engagement shoot. At each point of the shoot, they both fitted together so naturally. Their comfort in each other’s presence shines out through the images. The shoot took place at Littlehampton Beach and we started the day photographing in the green. Simon & Terrie cracked open a bottle of bubbles and I captured them in celebration. Using the natural surroundings of the historical pine trees, I got some shots of Terrie’s exquisite circular diamond ring on a platinum band. We then strolled down to the beach where I got some brilliant shots of them sitting on the Seat Sculpture at Littlehampton beach.
My favourite image from this part of the shoot, is when they sat on the sculpture, Terrie is looking back and Simon is kissing her gently on the cheek. They’re in such a moment of bliss. I find that this is a real essential part of photographing couples, working as a photographer who can fade into the background as much as possible, so the couple can feel natural in the moment. We then walked down to the beach, the wind was picking up which created a really atmospheric environment. I asked the couple to embrace and look deeply into each other’s eyes. As they did this, the wind blew Terries hair up, curling in the wind, which has created some really beautiful images. We finished the shoot by both Terrie & Simon having a shot of raspberry hooch in their matching bride & groom shot glasses.
Littlehampton was a really wonderful setting for an engagement shoot. Both Terrie & Simon were very photogenic and natural in front of the camera, which worked to create an album which hopefully they will treasure for years to come. I wish them a lifetime of happiness.
