Garden wedding venue in Sussex
Carl and Stella’s wedding started at their home, where the bridesmaids and Stella had an exciting morning getting themselves ready for the big day. All the bridesmaids had matching Team Bride pyjamas and their exquisite pastel blue grecian gowns waited for them hung out on their personalised hangers. My favourite shot of the morning is of Stella’s beautiful cream satin wedding shoes next to her twin girls white dolly shoes, it looks so sweet with them all in a row. Once the ladies were ready they all looked amazing, especially Stella in her long lace flower and shear wedding dress with capped sleeves. Her vale was incredible long and following behind her. It was time to set off to the venue and outside appeared the coolest ride I’ve seen yet, a white Volkswagen Camper van dressed in flowers and ribbons. They all climbed in and rode to the venue in style. The wedding was held at Field Place Manor House & Barns and the interior of the venue was marvellous. The beams were dressed in long white drapes, I especially liked the wooden signs decorated with roses which said: Welcome to the wedding of Carl & Stella.
Another really lovely addition was the wooden step ladder which presented photographers of the family members who were no longer with them but who were looking over them on their special day.
The groomsmen looked dapper in their dark blue suits with matching pastel blue ties. The guests waited in anticipation for the bride to arrive and when she did Carl’s move dropped, Stella looked stunning! It was such a beautiful moment watching them as they caught the first glimpse of each other. The ceremony was delightful and all the guests were grinning at each other as they watched Stella and Carl tie the knot and become husband and wife.
My favourite photo of the day is of them under the archway in the garden, it’s a black and white shot and the couple are kissing, the bouquet is bursting with shades and the sunlight is shining on them it just the right way to make it the perfect image. They look so in love.
After taking more photographs of the couple and all of their guests we moved into the venue again for the reception. The wedding cake looked fantastic, three turquoise layers of sponge dressed in the same flowers as the bouquet, orange & yellow roses, sea holly, baby blossom and rosemary. Simply stunning.
What was so wonderful about this wedding was all the small details, handcrafted decorations showcasing the couples journey and their individual personalities. The celebrations continued late into the night with delicious food, dancing, sparklers and lots of laughter. It was a beautiful wedding for a truly beautiful couple and I wish them a long and fruitful marriage.
