The beautiful rolling farmland in the heart of West Sussex
James & Katie’s union was dreamy, the sun stayed shining the whole day making it the perfect spring wedding. Set in the idyllic English countryside at Fitzleroi Barn in Fittleworth, Pulborough. There were open fields as far as the eye could see. It was the ideal setting for the union of such a wonderful couple. Wed in a wooden barn that was dressed with bunting and twinkling lights. Katie in a stunning fishtail dress with a train of delicate lace. Her father walked her down the aisle, proudly handing her over to James a groom who couldn’t have looked happier at her arrival. Her maid of honour was wearing a dark green grecian gown, paired with tulips and stood proudly next to Katie. The day was a burst of colour! The four delightful little girls dressed in pink added to this. It was a lovely family affair and I especially enjoyed taking the pictures of James and Katie holding their daughter, capturing them in their little family union. Through the images you will see a joy and a love captured, especially at the moment when the registrar said the words “You’re now husband and wife”.
My favourite moment with the couple was when we were stood by the tractor, I was really able to capture that moment of joy and connection between them, one of their first moments as man and wife away from their guests. It was lovely to see James and Katie with their family and I took many shots of their family and friends, capturing that delight they all felt at witnessing this matrimony. The festivities continued with an afternoon hog roast, dancing and raising their glasses to the happy couple.
