A stunning barn wedding venue
As a Sussex based wedding photographer, I have had the pleasure of photographing so many beautiful wedding venues, and I wanted to share one of my favourites with you, Farbridge Barn. Read about why this is such a beautiful venue and could be the backdrop for your special day.
Burrowed amongst the impressive and yet delightfully green fields of the South Downs National Park, Farbridge Barn in Chichester is the perfect backdrop for any wedding or occasion. With dazzling views of the farmyard animals and the spectacular surrounding scenery, this venue will provide you with a scene of tranquilness whilst still allowing for those intimate and romantic elements which most couples love and adore.
Meadow Barn
Licenced for civil ceremonies and partnerships and with the capacity to cater for up to a whopping 135 people, the Meadow Barn offers couples and guests the perfect atmosphere and ambience needed to enjoy such a special occasion. With gorgeous timber beams, elegant white voile drapes and stunning twinkly fairy lights, it will be sure to make your special wedding moment feel truly magical. Plus, whatever the weather maybe on the day you can be sure your wedding will go ahead with complete ease; from air conditioning to additional heating inside, you can be sure the environment will be perfect for you and your guests.
Food and drinks
As we know, each couple can have different tastes when it comes to deciding and choosing the menu for your wedding. That’s why at Farbridge Barn they’re able to cater for such a wide variety. Simon Dixon is the Head Chef and has been in the catering business for a staggering 20 years. He is known for his culinary knowledge and skills whilst also being able to bring inspiration to each and every menu. He has a fabulous team of talented and wonderful chefs who will be sure to help bring an eye for detail when it comes to bringing your vision to life.
From street food stalls to shared platters, canapés to hearty three-course meals, every menu is unique to the occasion. Using fresh ingredients carefully sourced from local suppliers and cooking and serving restaurant-quality dishes straight from the kitchen, you can be sure your wedding menu will go down with a bang. Farbridge Barn also stock a wide range of beers, wines, spirits and mixers which can be ordered throughout the day from the purpose-built bar.
Wedding suite
On the day of your wedding, you will be able to have the use of your very own suite to provide a private area with elegance and class to help you prepare for your big day. Snuggled away amongst its own secret private garden with gorgeous natural lighting, grand mirrors and sensational silver soft furnishings throughout, you can be sure to feel at home within this luxury setting.
Guest rooms
There are also seven double rooms available for your guests to stay in to help them unwind after the excitement of such a truly magical occasion. They all look out on to the charming and yet well maintained courtyard. Each one being open plan with simplistic neutral tones, making for a very calm and placid vibe. They each have their own bathrooms with en-suite too providing the secluded and discreet space needed to help them to prepare for the ceremony and to relax after the celebration.
