Here is Crystal telling their wedding story.

PLEASE TELL ME ABOUT THE PROPOSAL:

We were engaged on holiday at a cabin in a forest. Luke had been planning it a while and had the ring specially made. 

WHAT DREW YOU TO PARK HOUSE, HORSHAM AND MADE IT YOUR DREAM WEDDING?

We were drawn to our wedding venue because of how beautiful we found the building.

DID IT TAKE YOU A LONG TIME TO FIND YOUR ‘PERFECT VENUE’?

It didn’t take us long at all as we both knew we wanted to be married here.

WHAT WAS THE MOST CHALLENGING PART OF ORGANISING YOUR BIG DAY?

To be honest we didn’t find any of it challenging as we did so much of it in advance and it was only a very small wedding and made table decorations ourselves and decorated the garden ourselves with our parents help.

HOW DID YOU KNOW YOUR WEDDING DRESS WAS ‘THE ONE’?

After trying on around 12 dresses that I didn’t feel right in, I was beginning to wonder whether I would find my dress. However I tried this one on and it just looked and felt right. I just knew it was the one. It was also comfortable to wear which was important to me. 

WHO SUPPLIED THE GROOM AND GROOMSMEN’S SUITS AND WAS THERE A PARTICULAR STYLE YOU WERE LOOKING FOR?

DID YOU ALWAYS WANT TO GET MARRIED?

Luke had never thought about getting married until he met me. As soon as he asked me I knew this was everything I had ever wanted.

WHAT WERE YOUR STANDOUT MOMENTS OF THE DAY AND MEMORIES YOU’LL CHERISH FOREVER?

Crystal - after the ceremony we hugged and held onto each other as if to say “Yes! We’ve done it!” 

DO YOU HAVE ANY TIPS FOR COUPLES PLANNING THEIR WEDDING DAY?

We found keeping our day small and simple with only people we are close to made the day extra special and stress free.  Do it your own way, for example we didn’t have speeches or a first dance because we didn’t want all that. Our day was perfect for us and that’s all that matters.
